Used on engine model Courage SV470, SV620, and others. This is an original Kohler air filter that conforms to Kohler’s specifications, which are held to higher standards to ensure you will get the proper number of pleats and the proper micron filtering to prevent dirt ingestion and small particles from migrating through the filter.
The previous style air filter had an additional loop that was part of the filter. This is the current style filter that Kohler has upgraded to which allows for proper sealing and filtering of air.
Use with Kohler pre-cleaner 20 083 04-S. Adding a pre-cleaner will optimize the performance of the paper filter, keeping the larger type debris particles out of the inner filter.
